A Rough Weekend For Dad
We were all geared to go to Oklahoma on Thursday night of
last week and unfortunately Brent got sick. So Mom and
Sawyer had much of the weekend to themselves.
Sawyer started to take an interest in the potty and he
actually went "poopoo" in the potty for the first time - we
realize "by accident" but it was a first step. However, once
we pulled out his little potty he decided to us it more as a
fashion statement than the WC.
The next step up to "little boy" from "baby" is he started
sitting at the table, rather than sitting in his high chair. The
only wrinkle is we are trying to figure out how we are going
to keep the basket-weave leather kitchen chairs clean when
he eats yogurt and cheese. Does anyone know where we
can score some of those obnoxious plastic seat covers
perhaps?
Another super cute thing he's doing is turning his palms up
and saying "Daddy go?" Or "Mommy go?" Or "Truck go?"
Brent caught a great shot of it here.
We learned this week that he tends to walk up to teachers,
wait for their attention and when he gets it, he just gives
them a hug.
