Western Day At School

Every week at school during the summer they try to treat it
like a summer camp and work all the themes of the
learning units into every part of it.  So we sent him to school
one day in jeans, though we obviously sent him with shorts
as well because goodness knows, you can't play outside in
102 degree weather in jeans!  But he did look very cute in
his red plaid and blue jeans.

Mommy drops Sawyer off at school and Daddy normally
picks him up so Kate gets the joy of having the little guy
come and run up to her when she walks in the door - this
week Brent took a photo when she walked in.

Otherwise we discovered that Sawyer's bike can "fly" -
thanks to Dad!  Now he wants to ride his bike even more!
We can't wait for him to touch the pedals and actually be
able to turn them.

Otherwise, in an effort to teach him the word "yes" rather
than just "no" we're getting him to say "Yes, please" when
he's asked if he wants something - it's nothing short of
adorable and the ladies at school are so impressed with
both his "Please" and "Thank you."
