We Love Dad!
Father's Day was hot - it's been a very warm June, even for
Texas. Brent got a bit of a chance to sleep in - seemed only
fair given the importance of the day! Sawyer and Kate went
the park behind our home - which is great because it's
covered with shade.
Later that day we gave Dad his Father's Day gift and we got
to have a wonderful time in the pool. Sawyer really loves the
water and enjoys diving, splashing, swimming and dunking
as you can see by the photos below.
Brent was excited to put the little guy in the chariot so we
could go bike riding but Sawyer loathes the bike helmet and
we really need to find something to cover his head - at least
from the sun!
Friday night we drove to Oklahoma so we could see
Sawyer's grandmother and great grandmothers on
Saturday. He was such a great little trooper, even when the
hours in the car were wearing on his parents, let alone on
our little toddler. When we got to the hotel, Brent and Kate
collapsed - but Sawyer was ready to play - he was so good,
as he found ways to amuse himself in the dark in our little
hotel room in Alva, OK.
