Daddy's Back And It's Mother's Day!
Wow was it nice to see Daddy on Saturday afternoon. Kate
was very sorry that she didn't have the camera at the ready
on video for when Sawyer saw Brent for the first time in
more than 8 days. The little guy screamed "Daddy! Daddy!
Daddy!" at the top of his lungs and ran about 25 yards as
fast as his little legs would take him to get to his favorite pal.
There was a collective "Ahhhh..." from those in the airport.
Despite our attempts NOT to buy a lot of toys, we couldn't
help but notice just how much he is loving the trucks at
school. So we went and got him a little school bus that's
right about the same size as the one he has at school. The
bus (which he can say as clear as a bell) is a BIG hit. It
makes all sorts of noise and plays music to boot - Sawyer
just loves.
His love of music really comes out anywhere that it might be
playing - whether a restaurant, a store or his classroom -
Sawyer loves to dance and clap along with the music - he
often gets the beat down perfectly.
He's doing really well with puzzles and really enjoys
anything mechanical - that certainly hasn't changed...a
Sheffield perhaps?
