Growing, Growing, Growing!

We started the week by heading out to get Sawyer a few
new things as he's growing like crazy - in fact at the end of
the week we had to retire the Tony Romo onesie because
it's too small and keeping it snapped meant he had a
plunging neckline!

On the way back from getting some clothes we stopped at
McDonald's where he got a chance to play on the jungle
gym. The next day when we went to the Cowboys game, he
went to spend time with our good friends Deb, Tom, their
son Alex and their three dogs: Sunny, Baxter and Boomer.
Sawyer wasn't used to dogs that came up and interacted
with him so much, so it took a bit of getting used to.

This week Sawyer started on real milk and by the end of the
week he could already make the sign for it - in fact he keeps
making it over and over again - you can tell he's always just
a bit disappointed where there is only water in the sippy.

At the end of the week he spent the morning at Mom's office
and the afternoon at Dad's office - it's been a while since
he's been to visit and while it's fun to have him, he's a lot of
mischief in one little package!

As always, he managed to warm everyone's hearts with his
big smile and insatiable curiosity. He is definitely a little
man on the move, who knows his own mind and is
determined to do what he wants to do - remind you of 2
other people you know?

Year 1 Week 3
On Your Mark, Get Set, SLIDE!
He still loves going down and up the slide.
Everyone Waiting For Food
Dad And Sawyer Coming Home
Playing With His Stroller
Sawyer definitely prefers to be in control - and that means
his stroller as well. Though he doesn't mind being
pushed, he definitely prefers to do the pushing himself.
Brushing His Hair
Sawyer uses Dad's brush to brush his hair.
Although it is upside down in this picture, he
does it the correct way usually.
The Going Down Stuff Is Easier If You Hold On
Sawyer has learned that holding on to the
railing makes it easier to get to the next step
down.
Ready Or Not, Here I Come
Sawyer's Cowboys onesie is a bit small for
him now so his v-neck is really low!
Geez, Dad, You Scared Me!
Actually, Sawyer just heard Pippin and was
saying "Woof" in return.
Taking A Break At The McDonald's Playground
Ya Caught Me!
Sawyer still loves climbing the stairs, so we
have to be careful - sometimes he slips a bit
but he remains undaunted.
A Studious Jock
Sawyer may be decked out in Cowboys gear, but he gets
into the swing of the credit union by borrowing Sylvia's
adding machine.
