Daddy's Gone Again...Sigh
While Brent went to Virginia to finish up an Executive MBA
course (he has his full MBA already,) Sawyer and Mommy
were left at home to their own devices. We took lots of
pictures and sent a few to Daddy every night so he didn't
feel so far away.
We managed to have a good week, though we both missed
Daddy terribly - Sawyer would walk around asking and
calling for his dad every day.
That being said, we did manage to get to the park quite a bit
over the weekend - and he insisted on wearing that favorite
sweater despite the fact that it was over 90 degrees in the
sun. We went to both Dove Park and the one behind our
house.
We also found a new park thanks to some friends we met
at Gymboree last summer who have twins. It was great to
see the Daulerios and find a park that is completely covered
in shade - will be great for when it's 100 degrees outside!
Sawyer is really loving brushing his teeth every morning and
his words are really coming along. It seems like he's
growing every day - pants that were long only a few short
weeks ago are starting to look like high waters!
