Easter Egg Hunt At School, Playing Soccer With Mom & Dad
And First Merry-Go-Round Ride
Saturday we hit the park but that evening it rained so in order
to get thew wiggles out on Sunday, we headed to the soccer
fields. Sawyer really got the hang of kicking the ball, but liked
to pick it up and throw it equally - oh, and he also liked the
goal - just in general. Pretty funny.
Brent also found a way to keep him interested - namely
allowing him to "drive" the car - it's a great thing until he has
to get out of the car - then he's not terribly pleased.
On the Thursday before Easter, school had an Easter egg
hunt. He wasn't terribly interested in the whole affair and he,
along with all the other little boys in his class did NOT like the
Easter bunny - wow! Sawyer was interested to see what was
in the eggs, but not terribly impressed with what he found - he
preferred to play with the truck he found on the playground.
We didn't stay for long because we were headed to the airport
to climb on a plane headed for California.
On Good Friday we got to spend the afternoon and evening
with the Sheffields and the Verrengias at Irvine Spectrum and
Sawyer had a blast, first at dinner, then on the Carousel and
best of all, driving around in a shopping cart at Target.
