Granddad Visits
This week we had a real treat - Granddad Sheffield was
here over the weekend and Sawyer got to spend some time
with him and the whole family went to the Fort Worth Zoo on
a glorious Spring day.
He particularly loved both the Bengal and the white tiger - he
kept wanting to go back to that exhibit.
Sawyer is getting better with his animal sounds - and just
generally enjoys telling you what the cow, duck, sheep, cat
and lion say (the lion comes with scratching hand motions!)
He also got a "Happy Gram" this week - apparently Sawyer
was particularly helpful when they came to clean up -
especially when they made picking up toys into a scavenger
hunt! He reportedly crouched down and got very intense -
intent on finding all the toys - even those under furniture.
This week he also discovered the fun of playing in and
around Pippin's case - he loved putting all sorts of things in
it - including himself.
But best of all he's become really good at giving hugs and
has now added kisses - we just melt!
