Mommy Turned 40 - Yikes!
After the snow of the week before, this one was pretty quiet -
but Sawyer continued to learn and do new things. He now
knows what a Cow, Sheep and Cat say - and takes
particular joy in saying the former two - we can't help but
crack up.
He also says the word "shoe" and "Pippin." The former was
learned after taking the shoes off the shelves in Mommy
and Daddy's closet, over and over and over again...you
might as well learn the names of your toys. Learning
Pippin's name was much the same thing - Sawyer
continues to be thrilled by his little dog - and he's getting
much better about being gentle with our tiny pooch.
Sawyer and Dad love playing with the Frisbee and
Frisbee-Gun you see to the left here. The green ring shoots
almost the length of the house and Sawyer loves running to
retrieve it when Dad shoots its off - he'll play for a full 30-35
minutes doing it.
He can now get on and off his little truck really well and is
really getting the hang of push it along with his feet - he'll
also pull his truck and has discovered how to deal with the
fact that when he pulls it, it hits his heels.
At school we get reports that he's a sweet heart and the
teacher's "cuddler."
