Growing Up And Quickly
Sawyer is becoming more adept at all sorts of things from
being able to kick and chase a ball (getting better all the
time - one has to be prepared for those soccer games
coming up in a few years) to sliding off the bed - very
carefully - on his own. He's also becoming more
independent which means he's just that much happier to
go up the stairs by himself (much to our chagrin.)
He's even started choosing his own seating - like this week
when he decided that he liked the booster chairs (they
make great stacking-blocks as well). We thought he looked
so very grown up at Baker Bros.
He's becoming more "helpful", 'taking out the garbage" and
all kidding aside will help put things away and bring them to
you.
He also came to work with Kate on Monday - Martin Luther
King Jr. Day - because Lyrae's daughter Ellen was there to
play with him - he refused to nap, but had a great time
playing with everyone at the office. The team misses him
but everyone is pooped by the end of the day when he
comes to visit now.

pineapple - one of the many fruits he really
likes.
"Pineapple! Wow! Let me feed myself!"
"Did you know there are little people down
there?"
