A Boy After His Daddy's Heart, No Sleep For The Weary,
And Lots Of Squeaky Clean Fun!
Another busy and fun week. Sawyer started his week by
taking interest, for the first time, in his wardrobe. He
passed the hand-me-downs, the things from Babies R Us,
Old Navy and even the Gap in favor of the one thing he owns
from Barney's! It's an adorable sweater from Kate's bosses
- and he even doesn't mind wearing the matching hat! We
thought it was cute, but when he did it again the next day
before school, we laughed and laughed! You can see him
wearing it here - it's not exactly the best attire for finger
painting...
Since moving to the older kids class there is a true, quiet
nap time and Sawyer, our "no nap boy" is now sleeping
anywhere from two to two and a half hours during the day.
As a result, Sawyer's bedtime has been shifting later and
later - one night he went to bed at 9:00 PM - which is two
hours later than normal!
Finally, Sawyer has started to "clean himself" - be sure to
watch the video - he started with his belly early in the week,
by the end he was doing legs, knees and feet - it's adorable!
Of course, though the weather was cold, Sawyer HAD to go
in the wagon - though he agreed to wear the matching hat
to his fancy sweater, that didn't help with his icy cold hands!
But he is one insistent little boy...whom does he take after?
