Busy Week Of Chores And Work
We did not take many pictures this week. Somehow the
week just got away from us!
This week, Sawyer's new trick is to take his pacifier out of
his mouth and put it perfectly into yours. It's not the most
tasty trick, but he is pretty proficient at it and it highlights his
dexterity. More than that, he thinks it's HILARIOUS - we've
found it sort of cute until he tried to do it in a department
store - then it was a bit embarrassing.
Sawyer continues to battle allergies. Through the summer
he did pretty well, but they have started back up again, so
we went to the doctor to try a new medicine and get more
aggressive, so we don't run into ear problems.
Regardless, it doesn't seem to slow him down much - just
makes us chase after him with a tissue.
Finally, we are trying to wean him off the bottle - which
continues to be his absolute favorite (have you ever tried
formula? Admittedly, the smell is so bad we've never been
able to bring ourselves to do it - but he loves the stuff when
served in a bottle.) He's now made it two days at school
where he didn't have a single bottle during the whole day -
we're very proud!

Climbing the stairs is now great fun, so we have to keep
an eye on Sawyer. He usually wants to be close to us, so
is always near, but we probably need to put a gate up.
