More Travel and More Firsts
The only fruit we seem to be able to get Sawyer to eat is
blueberries - but Sawyer absolutely LOVES them! He's still
having a bit of difficulty moving over to table foods, but he's
also discovered he loves chili and doesn't think baked
potato is too bad. He'll eat pieces of chicken as long as
there isn't chili around to choose instead!
He's started drinking from a cup a bit - we discovered in
Vancouver that he likes water with lemon in it and will drink
that. He's also starting to take to the sippy cup - though we
wouldn't say it's the best thing ever...bottles are definitely
preferred!
At the beginning of the week we visited Lafayette, Louisiana,
for Dad's work and discovered that he now understands the
need to step over things - later in the week he was able to
get up to a standing position without pulling up on anything
- but we haven't seen him do that too much.
He also has put together the sign and the word "more" quite
definitively - Dad saw it last week, but Mom finally saw it this
week. He'll copy you when you clap and he babbles all the
time - it's adorable as he is quite intent on whatever he is
saying - too bad we're not smart enough to understand it!
