We Went To See The Banana Slugs!
Having been to the Bay Area on several occasions, (Kate even
went to school up there,) neither of us had been to Santa Cruz
or to the UCSC campus. We were both impressed by the fact
that the whole place is on a hill and in a forest - it was
gorgeous.
Otherwise, we managed to get to the shore to take some good
photos. We had a good time looking out from our vantage
point. This old light house is actually a surfing museum - that
wasn't open the day we were there.
Otherwise we found a great public park where Sawyer had a
good respite from the other touring we'd done. We got a
chance to climb and run and get the wiggles out - it was
wonderful!

Kate Points Out The Surfers To Sawyer
Right after this the poor little guy took a tumble off the
platform - but he got a band-aid - he LOVED that.
