The Texas Coast - It's Not Like Southern California

On a chilly Sunday afternoon in February we ventured down to
see the sea from the resort town of Corpus Christi. It certainly
isn't much like the beaches we grew up with, but the sea was
beautiful all the same.
On the Boardwalk
The only things along this strip are docks on one side and
large hotels and banks on the other - no shops.
What A Sky
As the sun began to sink, so the sky put on a show over
the water for us.
Always A Beautiful Church
This old mission was wonderfully quaint but
out of place amongst the high rises.
It's A Woody!
Had the place not been closed we'd have tried
to find something for Kate's brother - our
favorite surfer-boy.
It Takes All Kinds
The harbor is filled with everything from huge
yachts to this old tug.
The Children's Garden
The topiary were super neat.
Battle Ship
This is actually a museum for which we were too late to
enjoy.
