Luzern, Switzerland
The bridge at Luzern. The first view of the city, as one
ascends from the train station, is nothing short of breath
taking.
Luzern Bridge
Admiring the artwork - on a bridge? Yep, those
crazy Swiss.
Chillin'
Kate just chills on that gorgeous bridge. We were sorry to
have all of one hour and 5 minutes in this amazing city.
Famous Fountain
Brent stands in front of a famous fountain - we
can't remember the name for the life of us.
Easy To Park
Roads are small in Europe. We understand these two do not
run on rubber bands and chewing gum...but neither of us are
convinced - it does make for more parking options, however.
Traveling First Class
Traveling in style. Kate pulls out "dinner" in our first class train
car - on the upper deck no less. The trains were wonderful -
the countrysides is so beautiful it truly made the journey fun in
and of itself.
Enjoying The View
Kate tries to look like she isn't straining under
her back pack - next time the hair dryer gets left
in Texas.
Finally At The Falls
After a 20 minute walk we finally arrive at the Rheinfalls. It
was more than worth the effort. We take a quick breather to
enjoy Europes largest water fall.
The Rheinfalls
The Rheinfalls flow in all their glory. They were particularly
spectacular because of the Spring run-off. The beautiful
building in the background is the youth hostel.
Waiting For The Train
This beautiful view was our consolation prize for missing our
train back to Zurich by LITERALLY two minutes.
