It Still Looks Big, Even From the Air!

We wanted to check "Helicopter Ride" off of our long list of
"Things We'd Like To Do Some Day," (which as you can tell we
are voraciously mowing through,) and we could hardly think of a
better opportunity than at Niagara Falls.

The 25-minute tour did not disappoint.  It was an utterly
spectacular experience to see this wonder of the world from the
air.
Ready For Take Off
One of the other passengers snaps our pic, so we don't
have to pay the $10 US to buy one!
Niagara Falls
In the center of the photo are the "Canadian
Falls," also known as the "Horseshoe."  They
are much bigger than the "American Falls"
which can be seen in the upper right corner of
this picture.
We Can Hear You
We are ready to go!  Wow, it's fun doing new things
together!
The Lady of Our Mist
The dark ovular spec in middle of the
Horseshoe is not dirt on the lens, (or a bug
on your computer screen) but a boat that will
take you right into the Falls.
The Horseshoe
Also known as "The Canadian Falls."
Canada On the Left Bank and America On the Right
Pictured below is one of the three bridges in the area that
joins the two countries.  The lower center of the picture
shows the American Falls.  Ironically enough, on this
side of the river, you will find a gorgeous National Park,
whereas on the Canadian side, where there is
undoubtedly the more spectacular view, the whole scene
is all about the tourism.  Cheese-city baby!
