It's Another "Only In Texas"

Apparently a couple of neighbors got the idea to construct a replica
of Stonehenge, 60% as high and 90% as large in circumference,
put it in the middle of one of their meadow's and they just think it's
a hoot that people like ourselves will drive from far and wide to
come take a look...who'd a thunk?

About an hour outside of San Antonio, in Ingram, Texas stands a
structure every bit as enigmatic as the original.
England Here We Come...Or Not
In early December we went to "Paris" so why not go
"across The Channel" to see those lovely (brown) hills?
And If Stonehenge Wasn't Weird Enough...
The guys also decided to put two replicas of the famous
statues from the Easter Islands a "respectful distance"
(their words) from Stonehenge II. Okee Dokee Guys...
Climbin' the Henge Baby
The "rocks" are actually made of plaster
around chicken wire, but are reinforced to
make Brent's climb a relative breeze.
What A Glorious Day
This is a pretty cool shot, huh?  Well it was
definitely inspired by the wonderful weather
we had.
Hanging With The Dude
It pretty much took all we had not to want to
take photos pretending we were picking this
guy's nose...we're sick...and juvenile.
The Drive
If the statues weren't enough, the drive
alone was worth the effort; it was beautiful.
