A Neat State Capitol Building And Downtown
We walked throughout the city and explored the Capitol
building. Rising between the picturesque waters of Lake
Monona and Lake Mendota, this Capitol building was designed
after the one in Washington DC. Every Saturday they have a
farmers market around the Capitol building, so we enjoyed
seeing the sites, sounds, food and other vendor offerings. We
even found a Whole Foods Market where we had lunch and
gathered provisions for our travels.
