Cold But Utterly Beautiful

We stayed at the Westin Hotel across the street from Crown
Plaza where the city's Christmas tree stands.  There's also a
skating rink and then a whole display of life-sized toys - like the
truck that Sawyer plays in below.  He enjoyed it for about 5
minutes and then the cold just got to be too much - he had
wind-blown cheeks for the next day.

We tried to stay warm by exploring the little mall attached to our
hotel that had a pretty neat gingerbread house display.

Our News Year's Eve dinner was at Panera Bread across from
the hotel - it was fantastic!

We Use The Heated Bridge To Get Back To The Hotel
After having dinner, rather than walk the cold street, we took
the sky bridge to stay warm - good call!

"Dad! Can I Come Out To Play?"
It was very cold outside. Sawyer wanted to
play on the cars in the plaza, but the cold
wind made it painful to be outside for very
long.
