Palace Turned Museum

The Cathedral of Notre-Dame stands majestically on the Ile de la
Cite (a small island in the Seine River.) It took craftsmen 170
years to complete the cathedral after Pope Alexander III laid the
foundation stone in 1163.

We visited Notre-Dame on Sunday for services.
Camera Timer Shot
Brent balanced the camera and set the timer to get this
picture. No one walked in front of us, but we did get this car.
Notre-Dame Service
The stained-glass window shines down on
the clergyman in blue.
Notre-Dame Buttresses
This view gives a good shot of the flying buttresses that
support the cathedral's eastern facade.
