Beauty And Opulence

It was hard to believe that this is in fact a government building!  
Granted it was constructed in a different age and certainly for a
different purpose other than to make sure that one's Water and
Power bill is properly administered, but The Library of Congress
is still a site to behold.

It holds one of the 6 remaining Guttenberg Bible's (Kate's taking a
look in one photo below) as well as thousands of books and
documents from all over the world.

A "Library Pass" is not exactly an easily obtained thing, but after
you manage to pass the background check, this still remains a
national public library.
Are We At Versailles in the U.S?
Kate hasn't seen anything like this save her trip to Paris in
1988 where she observed the way the French Court Lived!
