For All Those Who Dare
From the very beginnings of flight with the Wright Brothers first
successful flying machine and along with one of their bicycles
(their trade), all the way through models of the Space Shuttle, the
Smithsonian Air and Space Museum really does have it all.
It is really the only thing Kate remembers from being in D.C. when
she was six and on the Saturday before Easter it was nothing
short of packed with lots of other six year olds.
Perhaps the most amazing, however are all the rockets and the
Lunar Module, which really does look like it was put together with
Duct Tape and Tin Foil!
Would You Have Trusted Your Life To This?
The ultimate in American engineering in the 1960's,
definitely looks a little sketchy by today's standards.
