In And About Town
On Friday night we went to Prima with some of the rest of the
Dive West group. Prima is a favorite of our dive leader: located
just off the main strip, it's known for its fantastic crab, calamari,
and collection of fine Cuban cigars (we didn't partake.) It's also
known for it's extremely tight, spiral, concrete, staircase.
We also got a chance to do a bit of shopping and to watch
some local street artists making fire paintings.
The Main Drag
Fire Painters
Seemingly random blobs of spray paint are
then fired through an aerosol can and
become the piece of art seen below.
The Love Boat
A couple of cruise lines make port in Cozumel - these
ships are huge and hardly to be believed - but utterly
mesmerizing when they head out to sea.
Yikes!
Imagine negotiating these after a few Margaritas!
The Gang at Prima
It was a lively evening with, starting closest on the left,
Valerie, Brent Mitchell, Aaron Kelly, Kate, Brent, George
and Kim. Visit Prima by clicking here.
