The Strip
It was a beautiful New Year's Eve - complete with the lights of the
city and the decorations still left from Christmas to make it cozy
and glitzy all at the same time.
Michigan Avenue is definitely the most glamorous of districts in
the city, living up to its reputation as the Magnificent Mile.
We stayed at the Intercontinental Hotel that is complete with a
swimming hall that's a throw-back to the 1920's, and we enjoyed
all the historic buildings both on Michigan Avenue and all
throughout this extraordinary city.
All Dressed Up For The Holidays (Still)
Michigan Avenue still had Christmas lights and the stores
were still all dressed up for the holidays.

This well known landmark is one of the many
recognized buildings in the city.
Wrigley Building On Michigan Avenue
Michigan Avenue has a large collection of
great buildings.
Intercontinental Hotel
Our hotel used to be a Masonic building. It
has an amazing pool.
