It's not difficult to see why this place is nick-named The Castle.
Built in 1888 it has been a popular vacation spot for the "haves"
for over a century.
The area first attracted people not just for its beauty but for the
reputed healing powers of the local hot springs.
We didn't seen to find the springs - but Kate did swim in their
gorgeous swimming pool with a view of the valley.
Wow, it was tough to go back to our flat Texas!

filled with neat facts and brimming with bad puns - he was
