Alligators and Tigers and Panthers, Oh My.
We had a neat opportunity to get close to a number of animals
from the area. We learned a lot about alligators while getting to
pet them and Kate got to hold and feed a baby tiger. The tiger
had been abandoned by its mother, so this park took in the
tiger to raise. That was a really neat experience.
Alligator Petting
Kate pets a baby alligator at the park's wildlife area.
Wonder Why This Guy Only Has Four Fingers?
One of the keepers talks to us about the alligators while
he tries to get this one to open his mouth.
Tiger Feeding
Kate was super excited to get to hold and feed
a baby tiger.
The Florida Panther
A little hard to see, but this big cat is pretty bored.
Here Lizard, Lizard, Lizard
This lizard enjoyed watching the visitors more than the
reverse.
He Made Him Mad
Poking the alligator with the stick was not the
best idea.
Young Alligator
Alligators have the shorter snout. This wildlife area also
had crocodiles.
Really Sleepy
This ferret must have had a long night. He was knocked
out hanging over his hammock.
Alligator Couple
This female and male alligator enjoy each other's
company while hanging out in the sun.
