A Little Culture...A Little Creep Show

In preparation for Halloween, we decided to venture down to Texas's
state capitol and its "City of the Bats!"

The area is termed  "The Hill Country," because of the beautiful,
green hills that surround the city - (which happen to be the only hills
we've found in the Lone Star State - unless you count the freeway
over-passes, of course.)

Its capitol building rivals our nation's, both in size and splendor and
the city is bisected by a river, over which is a bridge specifically
designed as a breeding ground for bats.
