Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum

The Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum is the largest history
museum in Texas. It is located on the campus of West Texas A
& M University in Canyon, Texas.

We explored the exhibits of Texas history and then took time to
let Pippin run around. The large grassy areas of the campus
nearby were great fun for Pippin. He ran off some energy, so he
could prepare for the six hour drive back to Grapevine, Texas.
Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum
When the museum opened its doors in 1933, it was a
12,500 square foot building.  Since that time the museum
has become the largest history museum in Texas with
more than 285,000 square feet. .
Big Man On Campus
Pippin enjoyed running around on the big open grassy
areas of the campus near the museum.
