Mavs Win And The Water Park With Friends
Over the weekend we had a good friend in from out of town -
Finn was back! Sawyer, Finn and Peyton had a great time
playing in Peyton's community water park. There was great
fun had by all. We were then invited back to Peyton's house
for dinner where the three boys had a blast playing with all of
Peyton's toys - turns out he and Sawyer have a lot of the exact
same ones.
All of Dallas has been wrapped up in the NBA finals where
the Mavericks prevailed against the Miami, Heat. On
Thursday, there was a parade so everyone had to have a
Mavericks shirt. Brent got Sawyer a Dirk-Jersey - which
happens to match the jersey Brent's team gave him several
years ago - the guys were twinners!
Friday was ROCK STAR DAY at school and Sawyer dressed
the part - complete with spiked hair and sunglasses. Brent
had some left over sunglasses from a kids promotion from
his Omni-days and the kids at school LOVED them and were
all very excited to stand for a photo.
Otherwise Greek yogurt continues to be Sawyer's protein of
choice - we have learned that if we want to sleep through the
night ourselves, we need to be sure that he's had something
right before he goes to bed - otherwise our little man
invariably wakes between 1:30-3:30 and though he goes to
be great, he doesn't go BACK to bed very well. So we make
sure that tummy is full before he's off to dream land.
