The Toy Store, Valentine's Day And Finn Leaves
Our weekend started with lots of fun - we not only went to the
"inside park" but we also went to the toy store! Daddy had
wanted to find one more Matchbox car for one of Sawyer's
games, but we ended up with a whole package of them - lots
of great vehicles like an ice cream truck, a tow truck, fork lift
and even an ambulance etc. It was a great buy! But Sawyer
loved poking his nose and his little arms in all the shelves
looking for toys like digging for buried treasure!
On Sunday evening we had a play date with his two buddies
Finn and Peyton. Sadly, Finn is moving away and Friday was
his last day at school. So we thought we'd take one more
chance to have the 3 together - as they have been pals for the
last two years - ever since they were in the infant room
together. We will miss Finn and his parents - and not just
because he has such a great name!
Sawyer and his pals had a ball. Be sure to watch the video of
these little tigers push the limits at the dinner table and play
together with the toy that shoots balls up in the air.
Monday was Valentine's Day and our little man refused to
have his picture taken - we did our best to make it happen -
as he looked ADORABLE in his little red, white and black.
Per usual, he still came home very disheveled - it had been a
great day!
Finally, we are having to admit that our "little man" isn't so
little any more and should probably no longer be bathed in
the sink. In order to stay warm, he's having to pretzel himself
to get low in the water - but at least he does have that
Cupid/Adonis look about him - best of all is the 1920s hair
style. See upper left.
