Nashville, Tennessee (The Music City)

We stayed at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel. It is much like the
Gaylord Texan Hotel just down the street from us. This property
seemed to be even bigger though.

We spent a day driving to Gatlinburg, Tennessee and to nearby
Great Smoky Mountain National Park. We also spent time
along the way in Pigeon Forge and Knoxville.

Brent got tickets to see Saturday's Grand Ole Opry show. We
did not know any of the performers or even the songs they were
singing, but we had a great time.

Brent loves using his mini tripod and he did again for this
picture. Here we are at Newfound Gap. We are standing in
North Carolina while the car is parked in Tennessee.
Our Accomodation - The Gaylord Opryland
This hotel has a general southern theme. Our room was in
the Delta wing. It was about a 10 minute walk to anywhere
else in the hotel.
Kate and the Singing Horses
We thought these were funny and deserved
the token photo.
Let's All Go To The Lobby
The lobby at The Gaylord Opryland was enormous.
Fun Staircase
Brent had fun running up this staircase.
View From Our Room Balcony
We had a wonderful view of the inside of the hotel from our
balcony.
The Delta River
A Delta River boat will take guests for a tour
throughout the hotel for $6.                               .
